Review of Estee Lauder Double Wear Powder

While I love most of the Estee Lauder products, this one gets a thumbs down.  I hate saying it, but the Double Wear powder makes you look about 10 years older.  It's really thick and has a great texture that covers up redness and gives you a smooth color, but if you have the first fine line or wrinkle, it makes it deepens it.  Almost like it cakes up around the line without going into the wrinkle thereby making it look deeper.  If you are 20 to 25, this product will be great and can replace your other base make up and powder.  If you are over 30, like me, let's find something else.    Here's a look at some other Estee Lauder products that do live up to the hype.

Time To Get Things Rolling

I know, I keep leaving this little blog alone and concentrating on Debs Lounge, my main website about making money.  Why?  Cause it helps others make money and it makes me the most money!  LOL.  And I have about 4 others I am working on.  Which brings me to this category of Pampering.
I have ran my butt off today getting in the last of my customer's payments for the month.  This involves a lot of driving and getting in and out of the car all day.  And in this heat, about the time I get the car cooled down, it's time to stop and get out again.  I'm hot and tired.  Thank God for air conditioning, the house is so cool and comfy.
After work I go check on a friend that just had another baby.  Beautiful girl.  Now I'm home and on the computer trying to update websites, answer emails, and constantly looking around as I type, thinking about the laundry and the floor that needs to be vacuumed (how the hell do you spell that anyway?  Why are there two u's? Oh well, that's for another day)  Anyway, I'm thinking it's time for some me time, so I'll vent here and then go do may fave thing when I feel like this and my shoulders are hurting and I'm hot and tired.  No, not that!  Jeez.
I'm going to go light the candles in my bathroom, fill the tub up with hot water and bath salts, and sink in.......I'm gonna have the book I'm reading, the new one by Nora Roberts "The Hollow", and a toddy called Bud Light Lime.
Total cost?  About a buck fifty for the BL Lime.  Living the life, saving the dang vacuuming for another day?  Priceless.

Damn... I forgot to buy toothpaste today.

Kids

I don't even know what category to name this one.  It's a struggle to raise our kids today.  I guess it was a struggle for our parents, grandparents, etc, too.  There just seems to be so much more out there.  I don't even know what the biggest predator is.  The internet, drugs, alcohol, bullies, cars, porn, girls, boys....With the exception of the internet, I guess these things have always been there, it's just much more accessible.  Just ranting a little.  I love my child and really get enjoyment out of raising him and watching him grow.  He's a great kid, but he is still a kid and there are so many influences out there that I worry.  God forgive me for what I put my parents through.

Hi

Hi.  I am 41 years old and still playing it by ear in the life and mom game.  Hope you will enjoy my blog and come back soon to see if I have learned anything else more than that I still have things to learn.  I love God, my family, blogging, writing, making money, and my new passion is ME.  How to make a better me.  I have found that I can do this by really upholding to the things already mentioned.  I look and feel better at 41 than I did at 30.  I won't lie and say that I am better than I was at 20 (although I am more mature and know more, but hey, let's face it.. I do not look 20)  41 is a great place to be and I want to share.  Come back soon!
